Welcome all of you avid readers of adolescent literature!

This blog is meant for all of us who enjoy the YAL books we've been reading this past semester. It is a forum for discussing, arguing, lamenting, free-thinking, and talking to one another during the long, but not long enough, summer ahead.

Not only is this for us to discuss novels we read and/or hear about, but it is a supplemental aid for the Summer Book Club that intends to meet in Binghamton every few weeks to acquire new books and discuss them in a casual atmosphere. It is also for those Syracuse-bound friends who would like to join the club, but wouldn't have the ability to commute an hour to meet with us.

So, without further adieu, let's get some discussion of possible titles going...and a schedule of meeting times/places for that first foray into the luxuries of summer reading...
